Happenings in Carole's Studio

I haven't worked as much since Christmas, but things are started to pick up. Right now I'm making pottery to sell at the Cache Valley Cowboy Rendezvous on Feb. 28th and March 1st. On Thursday Mornings we have an ongoing open studio class from 9:30-noon. Here's some of the fun stuff that the kids made lately. Plus be sure to scroll to the bottom to see the dinnerware set I made.

14 yr. old Amanda loves to make frogs. The Green one is holding a tiny baby. These frogs are about 4" tall.

11 yr.old Ameilia (with some help from Kelly) made this beautiful basket. White with lavender top. It's perfect for holding rolls fresh out of the oven. Plus if you warm the ceramic basket in the oven it helps keep the rolls hot.

Ameilia also made this fun navy blue bowl out of coils, using a disposable bowl for a base.

The glare doesn't do this lovely bull justice. Amanda covered a balloon to make the body then added legs and other parts.

The Mortensen family will enjoy these dishes I made. They ordered 8 plates, bowls, and tumblers. And in trade I get Kelly's fabulous facials and hair services.
